Платонов (настоящее имя Андрей Платонович Климентов) (1899—1951) — русский советский писатель, прозаик, один из наиболее самобытных по стилю русских литераторов первой половины XX века. Андрей родился 28 (16) августа 1899 года в Воронеже, в семье железнодорожного слесаря Платона Фирсовича Климентова. Однако традиционно его день рождения принято отмечать 1 сентября.
