«Modellbau Heute» — журнал для моделистов, издававшийся в ГДР. «Modellbau Heute» — ежемесячный журнал, посвященным всем направлениям моделестроения. Первый номер вышел в январе 1970 г., последний номер - в сентябре 1993 г. Регулярно издавался в Восточной Германии издательством «Militärverlag». Основное направление журнала - публикации материалов для постройки моделей кораблей, автомобилей и самолетов. В каждом номере даны подробные чертежи, рекомендации, советы по постройке модели и о материалах, нужных для этого (клеи, инструменты и пр.). Обложка, чертежи и фотографии высокого качества, хороший дизайн. В отдельной статье историческое описание предлагаемой модели. Для моделистов-профи и для начинающих строить свои первые модели.
