Стырь на участке XXXII арм. корпуса 20/7 июля 1916 года.
Автору, как непосредственному участнику этих боев, известны многие детали, не получившие отражения в официальных документах, дающие возможность более правильно подойти к оценке тех или иных фактов, но, с другой стороны, ему трудно было сохранить вполне объективное отношение при анализе своей личной боевой работы.
