This book focuses on the latest developments in the fields of visual AI, image processing and computer vision. Computer Vision (CV) is considered as one of the most powerful yet challenging fields of AI. To provide visual interpretation and contextual understanding of the digital images and videos by the machines, CV and its applications are well adopted by all the domains. The state of the art of CV models are most useful for image and video analysis and prediction of various applications in real life. CV tackles all images and visual representation/interpretation-related problems using the machine’s cognitive abilities that are possible with the help of deep learning approaches. Hence, to make the readers aware about recent advances in CV image processing, this book was planned.

Scientific Computing for Scientists and Engineers is designed to teach undergraduate students relevant numerical methods and required fundamentals in scientific computing. Most problems in science and engineering require the solution of mathematical problems, most of which can only be done on a computer. Accurately approximating those problems requires solving differential equations and linear systems with millions of unknowns, and smart algorithms can be used on computers to reduce calculation times from years to minutes or even seconds. Simple programming examples. This is an introductory programming course, and students need to learn the basics before all the bells and whistles. Hence whenever possible, we give code that is as simple as possible, without overcomplicating the main ideas and without excessive commenting. Also, we assume that students have at least seen and used MATLAB in some minimal capacity. Algorithms given in the text are written in the language of MATLAB and Octave. Currently at Clemson, all students have free access to MATLAB. Octave is a free version of MATLAB, which has almost all of the same functionality. Newer versions of MATLAB have more bells and whistles, but for the purposes of this book, either MATLAB or Octave can be used. We have created a website for the codes used in this book, where all MATLAB/Octave codes from the text can be downloaded. We have also posted Python versions of the codes.

Modelik Nr 32 (10) Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero теперь на русском. Бумажная модель 1:33. История Zero началась в 1940 году, когда инженер Дзиро Хорикоси разработал этот самолет. В то время военно-морской флот Японии искал замену стоявшему на вооружении самолету A5M «Claude». Требования, предъявляемые к новому палубному истребителю, были очень высокими. Особое внимание уделялось максимальной скорости в горизонтальном полете, которая должна быть не менее 500 км/ч. Взлету с палубы носителя должен занимать не более 70 м. Самолет должен был летать на максимальных оборотах двигателя не менее 1,5 часов. Радиус боевого применения должен составлять не менее 500 км. Выполнить все эти требования было очень непросто, а отсутствие подходящей силовой установки создавало дополнительные проблемы. В результате от бронезащиты и самогерметизирующихся топливных баков отказались и установили двигатель Nakajima NK1B Sakae 12 мощностью 940 л.с. Все серийные «Зеро» летали с этим мотором в различных его версиях до конца войны. Модификация A6M2 была вооружена двумя 7,7-мм пулеметами, расположенными в фюзеляже и стрелявшими через лопасти винта. Кроме того, они имели две 20-мм пушки, расположенные в крыльях. «Зеро» оставался основным палубным истребителем японского флота на протяжении всей войны. Боевая карьера A6M началась 19 августа 1940 года в Китае. Он успешно дебютировал, сбив 8 из 9 китайских самолетов, встреченных в бою. Эти истребители принимали участие во всех сражениях, которые вела японская морская авиация. Ближе к концу войны многие из этих самолетов использовались формированиями «камикадзе»
