Rapid prototyping is used in industry for immediate deployment and to provide ad hoc solutions. Energy-Efficient System-on-Chips (SoC) and advanced Scale Integration techniques have resulted in edge computing to take necessary fast decisions. Edge computing and fog computing are the major sources of data gathering for data analytics purposes. The entire computing environments have been replaced by dumb terminals and single-board computers (SBCs) making investors secure and profitable. This book proposes how to work with SBCs for Internet of Thing (IoT) rapid prototyping purposes. Internet of Things possibly provides better solutions for ad hoc problems and sophisticates the lifestyle of the individual.
