First of project in both electronics this series is called the Z complete power electronic project. So at the beginning and before we start going through our project we need to define what is meant by power electronics. So what does power electronics power electronics is simply a branch of electrical engineering. So what does it do. It deals with the power conversion from one form to another using elements such as zen in doctors Zen capacitors Zi semiconductor devices such as the diode scientists or most with IGT PGD and etc.
So Zee power electronics is mainly used for converting Gazi electrical power from one form to another one form. What I mean from easy to D.C. or from DC to AC or easier to AC DC to DC. So what does it mean. It means that the power and may be from Milli watt or two megawatts such as the Zippo system and similarly water such as some of zealot applications are very small loads. Now is the energy conversion can take place in any form. Ze conversions which is used by our electronics so we use power electronics it to convert ze power from one form or the electrical power from one form to another. So what is the forms or what are the forms in which we can convert our power.
We can convert the AC to AC What does it mean. It means that we can. It changes the value of the n ac into another value. AC This is what's called is C shoppers. We have goals of war. AC shoppers the second thing is DC to DC shoppers that you shoppers also will have a separate project for itself in this project so we will discuss how to change that this year value into our higher value or to allover value. So to either value or lower value using the DC shoppers. Now the sourcing is the DC to AC converters which is known as the inverters. They convert dizzying DC voltage into AC voltage.
