The convergence of Algorithms, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency has the potential to fundamentally disrupt the current world of work. Simply, an algorithm is a precise set of instructions or formula for solving a problem or doing a task. In a computing sense, we use algorithms to tell a computer how to do a given task. When we consider any algorithm as a set of precise instructions and not simply as a purely computational topic, we can see that algorithms are simply all around us.

The book’s comprehensive recommendations on how workers, organisations and nation states will need to adapt to prosper in this new world, provide a useful survival guide for researchers, practitioners and policy makers working on behavioural economics, economic policy and the future of work.
