Powerful phytonutrients, including antioxidants, are found in the seeds and pods of beans, and also in the bran of grains.
Another group of micronutrients are called phytonutrients and are found in plants. Like vitamins and minerals, they are active compounds that play a role in helping to slow the aging process, and guard against certain cancers and cardiovascular diseases.
