Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems Security for Industry 4.0: Applications, Challenges and Management presents new cyber-physical security findings for Industry 4.0 using emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (with machine/deep learning), data mining, applied mathematics. All these are the essential components for processing data, recognizing patterns, modeling new techniques, and improving the advantages of Data Science.

In recent years, we have witnessed an exponential growth in the development and deployment of various types of cyber-physical systems (CPS). They have brought impacts to almost all aspects of our daily life, for instance, in electrical power grids, oil and natural gas distribution, transportation systems, healthcare devices, household appliances, and many more. Many of such systems are deployed in the critical infrastructure and life support devices or are essential to our daily lives. Therefore, they are expected to be free of vulnerabilities and immune to all types of attacks, which, unfortunately, is practically impossible for all real-world systems.

With the exponential growth of CPS, new security challenges have emerged. Various vulnerabilities, threats, attacks, and controls have been introduced for the new generation of CPS. However, there is a lack of a systematic study of CPS security issues. In particular, the heterogeneity of CPS components and the diversity of CPS systems have made it very difficult to study the problem with a narrow span.

Both intelligent cyber-physical systems and Industry 4.0 are the most promising fields of research nowadays. Security is perhaps the biggest challenge to maintain systems secure in this digital world. The fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) is closely related to intelligent CPS security issues. This book introduces new outcomes in intelligent CPS security for Industry 4.0, its possible applications, challenges, and management for different domains.

With the abundance of digital text in social media, text steganography has become a lucrative approach for hidden communication. Different text steganography methods have been proposed in recent days but nothing is found for automation of existing manual cover text selection. Chapter 3 presents an automated cover selection system with an aim of faster stego-text generation. The different attributes of secret texts along with the requirement study of chosen stego-algorithms with the application of fuzzy clustering helps in finding the most accurate cover text from a pre-collected cover-text-bank. An interactive system has been designed in this regard, considering stego-algorithms and secret texts as input. A threshold secret text vector is generated by analyzing the inputs and cover text vectors are also obtained from each cover text of the cover-text-bank. The fuzzy clustering method finally finds the closest cover text that is able to hide the chosen secret text using the chosen stego-algorithm. The proposed method is experimentally tested and verified to be an accurate and effective one.
