This guideline was elaborated by an expert group "Strength of components" of the "Forschungskuratorium Maschinenbau (FKM), Frankfurt/Main," with financial support by the Bundesministerium fur Wirtschaft (BMWi), by the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft industrieller Forschungsvereini-gungen 'Otto von Guericke" and by the "Forschungs-kuratorium Maschinenbau."
