Давид Рикардо (1772–1823) – английский экономист, последователь и одновременно оппонент Адама Смита, один из основателей классической политической экономии. В работе «Начала политической экономии и налогового обложения» автор определил главную задачу политэкономии – определение законов, управляющих распределением созданного продукта. Стоимость определяется трудом, «определение стоимости рабочим временем есть абсолютный, всеобщий закон». На основе трудовой теории стоимости Рикардо создал и теорию ренты, в которой источником ренты является не особая щедрость природы, а прилагаемый труд. Кроме того, Рикардо сформулировал теорию сравнительных преимуществ для внешней торговли, количественную теорию денег и идеологию «золотого стандарта».

На основе системного анализа выявлены основные закономерности кластерных распадов атомных ядер, позволяющие сделать вывод о возможности существования гораздо большего числа f-активных ядер, чем известно. В области средних ядер кластерный распад возможен для нейтронно-дефицитных нуклидов. Кластерная радиоактивность характерна для a-активных ядер, обладающих повышенной устойчивостью.
