Speed measurement of DC motors is one of the greatest problems in the projects. In this project we will show speed meter. Some of the motors have problems in going straight on the cars because of skating. We can solve this problem by measuring the speed of the dc motor and using the algorithm of equalizing the motors. The sensor to be used is an infrared IR sensor. Basically the operation logic of the sensor is very simple. The perforated disk placed on the motor is positioned as the sensor can see. The basic logic does not count the hole. and finds the speed of the engine.
