Ганс Сакс при жизни пользовался огромной популярностью в народе. Даже там. где не знали немецкого языка, как, например, в Богемии, ценили Сакса, и его стихи были переведены на чешский язык. Но после его смерти в жизни Германии наступили долгие годы культурного упадка и одичания в связи с Тридцатилетней войной. Имя Сакса было прочно забыто, и только в XVIII веке, в связи с борьбой писателей-сентименталистов против французского классицизма, Гете, в поисках национальной литературной традиции, заново открыл этого поэта. Он применил в первом монологе «Фауста» размер книттельферз, характерный для творчества Сакса, и написал свое известное стихотворение «Поэтическое призвание Ганса Сакса». В дальнейшем интерес к Саксу уже не иссякал.

Neural networks as the commonly used Machine Learning algorithms, such as artificial neural networks (ANNs) and convolutional neural networks (CNNs), have been extensively used in the GIScience domain to explore the nonlinear and complex geographic phenomena. However, there are a few studies that investigate the parameter settings of neural networks in GIScience. Moreover, the model performance of neural networks often depends on the parameter setting for a given dataset. Artificial neural networks (ANNs) are an inductive Machine Learning approach that resembles the brain functions of human beings or animals for problem-solving. ANNs are one of the powerful approaches in scientific and engineering applications when used to predict or recognize patterns. ANNs can learn from data to improve their performance and adapt themselves as more data are available.

Digital software platforms such as iOS or Android evolve quickly. Through regular updates, their set of built-in (core) functionalities increases significantly. Innovation in terms of introducing new functionality allows developers to strengthen the platform amidst competition. However, it can hurt contributors in the platform ecosystem when introducing core features that are already provided by third-party developers, which is referred to as platform coring. Software platforms, as a specific type of innovation platforms, allow for the integration of external innovation capability within a uniform platform architecture. Following Tiwana a software platform is understood as “extensible codebase of a software-based system that provides core functionality shared by the modules that interoperate with it and the interfaces through which they interoperate”. Through the open paradigm of software platforms, third parties can contribute functionality in the form of capsuled modules.
