Казакшa курeс (каз.казакша курес — «борьба по-казахски»: каз. казакша — «по-казахски», курес — «борьба») — казахская национальная борьба. Казакша курес является одним из древних видов спорта у казахов. В современном Казахстане данное искусство пользуется большой популярностью, а соревнования по казакша курес проводятся на праздниках и торжествах. С 1938 года входит в программу республиканских соревнований. В казакша курес разрешены захваты за верхнюю часть тела. Борьба проводится в стойке. Проходы в ноги запрещены. Можно проводить захваты за куртку и за пояс. Разрешены приемы поясной борьбы (каз. белбеу курес).

The Tai Chi Concepts and Experiments book clarifies and makes accessible critical aspects of the art that are currently understood and manifested by only a small number of high-level practitioners. Numerous step-by-step experiments are provided for readers to experience and perfect these critical Tai Chi aspects. Over the half-century that I have studied Taiji, I have found that explanations of certain essential elements of the art are either insufficiently clear or absent. Two such elements are (1) the cultivation of expansive strength, which does not originate from nerve impulses producing contraction of muscle fibers but from a different action, and (2) the optimal timing of movement from the legs, to the hips, and out to the arms. I am concerned that these two essential elements will be forever lost to the majority of Taiji practitioners, especially those of the Yang style.

This book presents Aikido as a theory of movement based on a fundamental principle encoded in its name: the way of harmonising energy flows. A deductive reasoning approach is applied to derive the method to solve dynamic conflicts, and its link to physics is developed. This enables the establishment of objective criteria to assess the quality of the Aikido movements. The relationship to the Japanese sword -the katana- is investigated in detail. This allows the introduction of the Aikido-script.
